Verizon may announce the much-anticipated Verizon iPhone on January 5 or 6--either at a special event on the 5th or during chief executive Ivan Seidenberg's keynote speech on the 6th. The unit will support CDMA as well as Verizon's new high-speed LTE network, according to MacDailyNews. Apple CEO Steve Jobs has a history of stealing the CES spotlight without actually being there--by announcing innovative products (such as the original iPhone in 2007).
